Janet Gonzalez has 19 years of experiencing, working in the Pharmaceutical industry in charge of GxP electronic computerized systems and has worked for Ivax, Schering Plough, and Noven Pharmaceuticals. She has managed the evaluation, selection, implementation, project management, validation, regulatory compliance, change management, and post-implementation support for electronic systems in regulated environments (for Quality Assurance/Quality Control/Product Development /Information Technology). Among the Quality Systems that Janet has implemented are Tracking, Document Management, Learning Management, Chromatographic Data Management, Laboratory Information Management, Environmental Monitoring and Lab Equipment Computerized Standalone systems. Janet’s holds a bachelor degree in Chemistry and a MBA in Technology Management. She is PMP Certified. Today Janet is the Senior Product Manager responsible for the Quality Manufacturing Solution for Abbott informatics.

Samuel Varghese has been with Abbott for 16 years, starting in roles in IT supporting Pharmaceutical products before transitioning over to the commercial side of the business. He is currently Sr. Product Manager for Specialty Products at Abbott Informatics, responsible for enhancements to STARLIMS including Cloud Services, Electronic Laboratory Notebook and Scientific Data Management Systems. Samuel holds a B.S. in mathematics and an MBA in marketing.
